Nr. 2/2023FRANCESCO SORVILLO Religious bodies and NGOs in the Italian system of international development cooperation
ABSTRACT
Linguistic, cultural and religious pluralism distinguishes contemporary democratic societies. Living together represents a crucial goal of today’s world in the face of crises caused by conflict, political instability, poverty and environmental threats. There is a reluctance to think of pluralism as a now inescapable fact of our societies, while there is an increasing need for a long-term integration project, the true condition for the respect of the rights of all children and young people.
