ABSTRACT
The countries of the Global South, more exposed to the climatic, environmental, energy and food insecurity crises caused mainly by the countries of the Global North, on the one hand are characterized compared to the latter by a greater centrality of the religious factor and protagonists of many migratory dynamics and on the other hand, they have begun to investigate new production and food sustainability paradigms in response to the current crises. Islam, as the most widespread religion in these horizons and aligned with ESG criteria, plays a decisive role in religiously rebalancing the relationship between man and nature in the Anthropocene.
