On 25 March 2023 Pope Francis promulgated the Apostolic Letter in the form of motu proprio "Vos estis lux mundi", which enters into force on 30^th April and replaces the previous one of 7 May 2019, for the purpose of preventing and countering sexual abuse of “minors” and “vulnerable adults”. The new motu proprio is the result of consultation with the Episcopal Conferences, Dicasteries of the Roman Curia, pontifical representatives, and various experts on the subject. The document contains significant and not a few innovations compared to what was contained in the motu proprio of four years ago, innovations that are highlighted in the following synoptic tables with specific graphics, to facilitate their easy and immediate reading.
