ABSTRACT
The article examines the institution of avocation by the Promoter of Justice at the Court of Appeal. Despite the abrogation of the second paragraph of article 182 of the Code of Criminal Procedure - by article 27 of Vatican Law no. L of 21 June 1969 - the author maintains the current validity of the institution in Vatican procedural law, as regulated by the first paragraph of article 182 of the Code of Criminal Procedure
