ABSTRACT
This paper, starting from the most recent case law of the Court of Cassation, intends to deepen the theme of the lesion of the collective religious feeling perpetrated through the criminal manipulation of religious rites. The relevance that assume for the purposes of ascertaining the criminal sanctionability of such conduct those provisions which, in the ecclesiastical context, regulate the ordinary performance of religious ceremonies and practices and the possibility of the religious community injured to constitute itself as civil plaintiff in the criminal trial confirm the importance that the action of repression of the crime of turbatio sacrorum can represent as an instrument of reciprocal collaboration between State and canonical legal sstems in the respective actions against organized crime.
