ABSTRACT
The article outlines the birth of the Istituto avventista di cultura biblica within the Seventh-day Adventist Church polity, its passage within the 1986 agreement, approved in 1988, which recognized its legal personality by law, and more recent developments.
Special attention is given to the theological degrees awarded by the Istituto avventista and recognized by the State.
The paper moves between State laws, bilateral and unilateral, and denominational regulations, particular and universal, opening glimpses into the norms of the Adventist system that oversee the educational branch.
